Tomislav Bracanovi\u0107 delivered a public lecture titled The Ethics of Autonomous Weapon Systems<\/em> at the Metel O\u017eegovi\u0107 City Library in Vara\u017edin on 31 March 2026. The lecture introduced autonomous weapon systems and the basic principles of just war theory, presented the main humanitarian argument in their favour, and examined three common ethical objections, highlighting both their weaknesses and possible counterarguments. The discussion featured presentations by Nino Kadi\u0107 (Moral status in synthetic and emulated AI<\/em>), Viktor Ivankovi\u0107 (A target in motion: Extending the ethical AI landscape<\/em>) and Tomislav Bracanovi\u0107 (The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence: Self-reflection and self-critique<\/em>).
